We went to Avocado's in Luling tonight for dinner. It used to be El Mexicano until they remodeled it. First thoughts when we walked in was that it was LOUD. With terrazzo floors and other hard surfaces it sounded like it was in the middle of a shopping mall food court. More tables now which were needed since it was busy. I found the food to be the same as El Mexicano, Lisa Smit found it to be better. Prices were higher than before I think also. Some of the staff were the same with some new faces. Now it's competing with El Paso nicely but I'm sure it'll slack off with people going to El Paso more again. For me I'm OK with it but being that it was so noisy I'd rather go to Taco Bell. lol
