I'd do that high school music thing that everyone else is doing but that was like 30+ years ago. My list would be classic rock that was played on the radio (The Who, BTO, Zeppelin,etc) and stuff like early Journey, early Styx, Foreigner, Zebra, some Pink Floyd and starting to get into Yes. So basically classic rock with a leaning to the heavier stuff and progressing to some some progressive. I still love classic rock, progressive but added metal and other genres like some variations of jazz, big band, classical, etc. No pop, country or rap though. Disclosure: I did (probably still do) have albums from Sugar Hill Gang and The Knack, I don['t remember any country albums though.
