UNPLANNED I watched two movies tonight that were shot in the same style. Cloverfield and Project Almanac were both shot in a candid/found footage/self documentary/Blair Witch style. I never found this style to be believable. Camera work is always too steady, they always seem to be edited instead of start/stop, whenever the camera is dropped it's always dropped with a decent shot, audio is too clean, etc. This one bothers me the most. How do they get the batteries to last for days??? The other night Lisa and I watched The Visit which is another movie in this style.
