Sooooo, I need to get rid of the old tube TV and I check to see who recycles these dinosaurs. Ahhhh, BestBuy will take them, for $25!!!! Sooooo, anyone want an old Sharp 25" (I think) CRT TV for free? It'll eventually hit the curb and Craigslist if nobody on here wants it. I think I can put it in my trunk and deliver it in the NoLa area.

Woke up feeling like crap, migraine, aches, etc. Drove to work, went inside, told boss that I was calling in sick. Halfway home stopped and took a nap at a gas station. Home now for another nap before doctor appointment for now follow-up. Should be a fun weekend the way things are going. Yay

Someone was giving away a 39" Tv on Craigslist for parts/repair. Of course I had to get it. Ends up it's a Philips "smart" TV that's about 3-4 years old. Problem is that it won't turn on easily with the control buttons and the remote doesn't work. Quick looking at everything without taking anything apart I think it might be a problem with the control board which also has the remote sensor on it. Might be an easy fix. Tomorrow it gets screwed. Errrr, unscrewed.

Boy that was a great full moon last night on Friday the 13th.
Congested noise all last night so I got little sleep. Better since I got up and showed but zzzzzzz. Might as well get meds and run errands.

Had to teach the UPS driver where my house was. Last 2 orders through them went to the wrong house. I'm glad I was home to catch him this time.
I guess I'm off to pay someone a lot of money to dig in my nose.

So Lisa and I went to see Cptn. Merica: Civil War (or whatever the title is) tonight thanks to some passes from my sister. We get there a little late and wait in the long line outside. People are being let in. We get in the building. They run out of wristbands which means they "sold out" the screening. Ok, now what to do. Ok, let's see Jungle Book. Checking the video monitors for times. They keep changing every time I look but it looks like the next 3d showing is at 9. Too late at night for that. Ok, how about Huntsman? There's a 7:20 showing. Got the tickets. Order expensive munchies after dealing with monitors that keep changing to what I DON'T want to see. Checking theater number I notice that theater #1 has Jungle Book for 7!!! Look at tickets and see a time for the showing was 6:20. Ummmm, I asked for 7:20. WTF? And it's like 6:35 now. Wait for customer service for a few minutes. "Oh, you want the IMAX 3D?" Yes, I don't want 2D at all. Regular 3D would be OK. But not 2D. Paid extra to get the IMAX printed on the tickets. Get into empty theater at 7, watch many trailers and then enjoy the movie. I liked it. I think the 3D was great and 2D might be OK, but for this mostly CGI film 3D is a good plus. Acting, including voice acting, was good. Only two songs during the film with a couple extra sings during the credits. The last one was from Dr. John. Anyway. Jungle Book was good and I have no idea how Capn Crunch:Cereal War was. Bed now. Work tomorrow. Crawfish tomorrow night.
