The A/C guys got to the house before I could get some to make sure they put the temp window unit in correctly. Like how could they screw that up, right? The cheap, sub $150, unit was dropped in the window and plugged in. They at least put some cardboard on one side of the unit where the accordion wings should have been. Yup, no hardware was installed to make sure it doesn't fall out. It was also most of the way IN the window and would probably drip on the window sill overnight. I know that it's only supposed to be for one night but still....... Hopefully by this time tomorrow the house will be chilly again.
