All of a sudden earlier I started to get stomach pains, felt like puking, sweating, etc. I got up and went to the bathroom ready to spew but it subsided a little, peed, got ready to puke again, did a little dry heave or two, sweated some more, etc. All that passed in a matter in minutes and I felt better but grabbed a moist towel to cover my face while I went horizontal in the bed for a few minutes. Nothing was really out of the usual for me except for sipping on two strong beers while watching football. Maybe it was hoping the 49ers would beat the Panthers. Who knows. Feeling much better right now but, for the most part, the weekend is over for me. Shutting PC down to go horizontal again but I might be on the handheld computer that has the telephone feature later. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I went to my local Winn-Dixie and their beer selection is 90% IPA. I was able to find one porter and one stout. Come on people, there's a chill in the air, get rid of those summer IPA's and stock something with some body to it. Now I have to wait for my Dragon's Milk to chill some.

Since I live out in the "sticks" the best antenna coverage of the Hard Rock Hotel crane implosion is Ch.8. Unfortunately, since they aren't ready to "blow dat ting up" I have to watch the Rams-Failcons game. Boy, they're a lot of empty seats in the Toilet Bowl.

I had a scare this afternoon. When leaving work I found my A/C to not work AT ALL! A quick check and I didn't see the compressor working and there was no air blowing out the vents. Thinking about it on the way home, with windows down, I realized that even if the A/C was off there should be at least some air blowing out. Could it be just a blown fuse or something simple? When I got home I decided to check to see if there was power going to the blower motor. After removing the glove box I was able to access the blower and I checked the cabin air filter. It was good. I then turned on the car and manually spun the blower motor. It started spinning with no problem. WHEW! I guess the brushes in the motor decided to wear out after only 235,000 miles and 15 years of life. Sheesh, they don't make cars to last do they? If the motor does decide to crap out on me completely I can get a new one for under $50 and I don't think it's that hard to change remembering what I can about changing the one in Lisa's '99 Corolla a few years ago.

What a nice night last night for the Chris Chaos birthday party at Twist of Lime. Project Ascension opened it up with a crazy and high energy show. The Tomb of Nick Cage followed with some classics and some new songs from their soon-to-be-released album (Dec 5th, 2019). Green Gasoline was next with some nice rock that kind of reminded me of a modern version of Black Oak Arkansas. Cheeky Blakk was invited onstage to give Chris Chaos a surprise that involved some twerking. Closing the night out was Intrepid Bastards with two new members. They go way back when and still kick but. But wait, there's more. After Intrepid Bastards finished the bar held an open jam session. Open jams are good for people to network and experiment with music. Along with the great music, a nice crowd was there with some great people including a few that I haven 't seen in ages. I'll post some photos and videos below.
